FO attributes Ormara attack to Shah Mahmood Qureshi’s warning of Indian attack
Islamabad (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 18th April, 2019) At least 14 passengers were offloaded from a bus on the Makran Coastal Highway in Ormara area of Balochistan early Thursday and shot dead by unidentified assailants.
The militants checked the ID cards of the passengers and separated 16 of them. The armed miscreants then shot dead 14 passengers.
The Pakistan Foreign Office has said that Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi had already warned about such an attack.
There was an intelligence of an Indian attack on Pakistan between April 16 and 20, FO Spokesperson Dr Mohammad Faisal said.
This is the same place from where Kulbhushan Jadhav was caught, he said.
“India was involved before too. If an external hand is found behind this attack, it will be highlighted internationally,” he added.
Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi had on April 7 said that India is planning a new attack like Pulwama.
The foreign minister had said that India can engage in fresh aggression between April 16 and 20.
“We have reliable intelligence that India is planning a new attack,” adding, "We can see a Pulwama-like attack in Kashmir in coming days."
The foreign minister said that the foreign publications exposed India’s lies. They rejected Indian claims of downing Pakistan’s F-16 and killing 350 people, he added.
“The world knows we behaved responsibly while India irresponsibly. India’s attitude is aggressive, Pakistan’s is conciliatory,” the foreign minister said.
