Inspector General Of Police (IGP) Vows To Uphold Merit Policy

Inspector General of Police (IGP) Gilgit-Baltistan (GB), Sanaullah Abbasi on Thursday vowed that he would spree no efforts to uphold merit in the line of duty.

ASTORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Jul, 2018 ) :Inspector General of Police (IGP) Gilgit-Baltistan (GB), Sanaullah Abbasi on Thursday vowed that he would spree no efforts to uphold merit in the line of duty.

Speaking in a meeting at police headquarters, he said that upholding merit would be his top priority so that no person face injustice and every deserving person get his due right.

He said that policy of reward and punishment was being followed strictly to bring improvement in the performance of police force.

Earlier, Assistant Inspector General of Police, Tanveer-ul-Hassan gave a detailed briefing on various aspects of police force including promotion, recruitment, establishment of IT department, communicationcadre, gunman policy.

All regional heads of Police participated in the meeting.
