Islamia College University Holds Naat Competition

A Naat competition in Urdu and Pashto languages among students of Islamia College University was held here under the aegis of Khyber Islamic Culture Society in connection with the holy month of Rabi-ul-Awwal.
PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Nov, 2018 ) :A Naat competition in urdu and Pashto languages among students of Islamia College University was held here under the aegis of Khyber Islamic Culture Society in connection with the holy month of Rabi-ul-Awwal.
Renowned Naat Khawan Arbab Zafrullah was the chief guest on the occasion while the event was presided over by Dr Hussain Farooq.
Dr Abaseen Yousufzai was also present as the guest of honour.
About 46 students contested for Urdu Naat competition while 15 students for Pashto Naat.
The Urdu Naat competition was topped by Abid Iqbal, followed by Ataullah Shah and Ammad Ali stood at third position.
Abu Talha secured first position in Pashto Naat competition whileFatima Shah and Zakirullah took second and third position respectively.
