Journalism Played Vital Role For Democracy: Governor Of Sindh, Muhammad Zubair

Governor of Sindh, Muhammad Zubair, Wednesday said that journalism has played a vital role for the stability of democracy.

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Mar, 2018 ) :Governor of Sindh, Muhammad Zubair, Wednesday said that journalism has played a vital role for the stability of democracy. He stated this in a meeting with a delegation of Pakistan Print and Electronics Media Foundation, said a statement issued here.

In Pakistan, the Governor said that there is complete freedom of expression.

He said that the government is making all-out efforts for the protection of journalists besides journalism values. They also discussed the role of press in a democratic society, eradication of evils from society, freedom of press and government measurers for the welfare of journalists.

The delegation included Foundation President Z.H Khurram, Dr. Alia Imam, Hamid Hussain Abdi, Saeed Khawar, Minhaj-ur-Rab, Ali Raza, Sabir Ali, Syed Muhammad Aslam Shah, Khursheed Haider, Zaiba Shenaza and others.
