ISLAMABAD (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / NNI - 16th February, 2019) In a case pertaining to inadvertently border crossing of Indian prisoners, the Supreme Court of Pakistan (SCP) severely lamented on the attitude of Federal Information Minister Fawad Chaudhary and information secretary after observing that the courts directives were not followed in the case.Reportedly, Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed presided over hearing of the case and inquired Why advertisement was not issued despite the orders of the court?Do Fawad Chaudhary and information secretary consider themselves above the law? Justice Saeed remarked, adding that officials of information ministry might have certain misconceptions and they should be informed about consequences for not complying with the orders of the court.
Their misconception will be removed in such a way that they will not even think of defying courts orders, he went on to say.Subsequently, the court ordered to produce the information secretary on the next hearing of the case in handcuffs. NNI
