Khawaja Haris Continues Cross-examination Of Wajid Zia

Khawaja Haris, counsel of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, Thursday continued cross-examination of Panama Papers Joint Investigation Team (JIT) head Wajid Zia, witness of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in the Al-Azizia Steel Mills reference.
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th Sep, 2018 ) :Khawaja Haris, counsel of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, Thursday continued cross-examination of Panama papers Joint Investigation Team (JIT) head Wajid Zia, witness of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in the Al-Azizia Steel Mills reference.
Accountability Court II Judge Arshad Malik coducted the case hearing.
During the course of proceedings, Zia informed the court that the report under question was made on the basis of financial statements that were not audited by Aldar Audit Bureau.
"The JIT did not contact any officer of the Aldar Audit Bureau to obtain financial statements," he added.
"The Aldar audit report for Nawaz Sharif's son Hussain is from 2010-2014. Contact details of the person, who has prepared the report, are present in the document," Zia told the court.
Khawaja Haris then questioned Zia about the date when the Hill Metal Establishment became operational. In response, the latter said he could only answer the question after going through the record.
