Khawar Mumtaz Nominated Chairperson NCSW

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 06th Oct, 2016 ) : The Parliamentary Committee has nominated Ms. Khawar Mumtaz as Chairperson of National Commission on Status of Women (NCSW). The decision was finalized in the meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on appointment of the Chairperson of the National Commission on the Status of Women, chaired by Ms.

Tehmina Daultana MNA, issued a press release here Thursday.

The committee confirmed the nominations received from the Prime Minister for appointment of NCSW Chairperson. Tehmina Daultana briefed the Committee with reference to nominations made by the Prime Minister in consultation with the Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly.

The Committee confirmed the name of Ms. Khawar Mumtaz for appointment as the Chairperson after discussion. The Committee decided that the name of Ms. Khawar Mumtaz may be forwarded to the PM for her appointment as the Chairperson.
