Livestock Development To Improve Rural Economy: Faisal Hayat

The livestock development will help improve rural economy which will boost life standard of 80 percent rural population of Punjab
This was expressed by Advisor to the Chief Minister on Livestock Faisal Hayat Jioana during his visit to Pakpatan on Monday.
He said that a comprehensive program is being formulated to bring services of Livestock Department to the access of breeder under which farmers are being provided vaccines on priority basis to prevent the livestock from all kind of diseases.
He expressed satisfaction over the steps taken to control the foot and mouth disease in district Pakpatan and motivated the Livestock officials to work on specified pattern.
Director Livestock Dr Ghulam Mustafa and Additional Director Dr Khalid Rashid were also present on the occasion.
Additional Director Livestock Dr Khalid Rashid briefed the Advisor regarding steps being taken for the eradication of various kind of diseases in various areas of the district.
Later, the Advisor visited Haider Ali Khan Malika Watto agro farms. He also visited shrine of Baba Farid ud Din Gunj Shakar (R.A).
He laid floral wreath on his grave and prayed for the progress and prosperity of the country and the nation.
