Minister To Brief NA On Measures Taken To Provide Solace To Drought Hit People Of Balochistan: Ali Muhammad

A detailed report on measures being taken to provide solace to the people of drought hit areas of Balochistan would be presented in National Assembly within a day or two, said State Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Ali Muhammad Khan Wednesday
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Jan, 2019 ) :A detailed report on measures being taken to provide solace to the people of drought hit areas of Balochistan would be presented in National Assembly within a day or two, said State Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Ali Muhammad Khan Wednesday.
Answering the point of orders raised by Rao Muhammad Ajmal, Maulana Abdul Waseh, Raja Pervaiz Ashraf and Syed Hasnain Tariq in National Assembly, he said Balochistan government, National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) and Provincial Disaster Management have been contacted and details about the relief measures being taken in drought hit areas of Balochistan would be shared with the august house.
Meanwhlie, the speaker referred a Privilege Motion of Maulana Abdul Akbar Chitrali regarding closure timings of Lowari Tunnel to relevant committee for further perusal. Abdul Akbar Chitral said his privilege is breached as Lowari Tunnel still remain closed for 12 hours causing problems for 600,000 population of Chitral.
Speaking on a Point of Order Ahsan Iqbal said recently transactions were made from the frozen accounts of former President General (Retd) Pervez Musharraf.
The breach of Supreme Court orders should be investigated.
He said a special package should be announced for drought hit people of Balochistan.
Speaking in the National Assembly on a Point of Order, Ms Shazi Marri alleged that the government was committing contempt of court by not implementing the orders of Chief Justice of Pakistan, who had already ordered removing the Names of PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah from ECL.
Raja Pervez Ashraf urged the government to do measures to provide relief to potato farmers as prices have already been declined to optimum level. He urged Speaker to protect rights of members. Putting name of Bilawal is breach of entire nation. He questioned removing the names of ruling party member Liaquat Jatoi from ECL within a few hours.
Syed Naveed Qamar said attorney general of Pakistan should be summoned in Lower House of the Parliament to brief the House about the orders of Supreme Court regarding removal of the names of Bilawal Bhutto and Murad Ali Shah from Exit Control List (ECL).
Shahid Khaqan Abbasi questioned rationale behind putting the name of Bilawal on ECL.
