MNAs From Newly Merged Districts Call On KP Governor

A delegation of members of National Assembly from newly merged districts called on Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Shah Farman at Governor House Saturday and discussed issued pertaining to administrative matters and steps being taken for uplift of merged areas.
PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Apr, 2019 ) :A delegation of members of National Assembly from newly merged districts called on Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Shah Farman at Governor House Saturday and discussed issued pertaining to administrative matters and steps being taken for uplift of merged areas.
The delegation comprised MNAs District Khyber Iqbal Afridi and Gul Zafar Khan, MNA District Bajaur Gul Dad Khan and MNA District Orakzai Jawad Hussain.
Talking to the delegation, KP Governor said that elected members and tribal elders were real representatives of tribesmen and government respect them.
Shah Farman said merged districts would be developed like settled areas as main objective of the erstwhile FATA's merger is to bring them in national mainstream and prosperous.
He said necessary steps in this regard have been taken in consultation with tribal elders and giving priority to their traditions.
Shah Farman praised the sacrifices of tribesmen and said whole nation is witness to their struggle for establishment of peace in the country.
