Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Rai Muhammad Murtaza Iqbal has won NA-149 with 137632 votes.

Sahiwal (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Rai Muhammad Murtaza Iqbal has won NA-149 with 137632 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate won in NA-149 Sahiwal-lll constituency with 137632 votes.

In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Makhdoom javaid Hussain Hashmi was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 83640 votes. The second runner up was Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Sheikh Muhammad Tariq Rasheed who got 73898 votes.

At least 27 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in NA-149. In 2013 elections, there were 338005 voters registered in NA-149, out of which 189660 votes were polled out.
