According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate won in NA-168 Bahawalnagar-lll constituency with 124218 votes.

In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Sajid Mehdi was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 69049 votes. The second runner up was Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Muhammad Ishaq Khan Khakwani who got 54334 votes.

At least 13 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in NA-168. In 2013 elections, there were 312836 voters registered in NA-168, out of which 187727 votes were polled out.
