Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Javed Iqbal has won NA-179 with 110827 votes.

Rahim Yar Khan (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Javed Iqbal has won NA-179 with 110827 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate won in NA-179 Rahim Yar Khan-V constituency with 110827 votes.

In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Makhdoomzada S B A Sultan was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 110197 votes. The second runner up was Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians candidate Mohammad Moazim Ali Khan who got 73199 votes.

At least 14 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in NA-179. In 2013 elections, there were 341765 voters registered in NA-179, out of which 211576 votes were polled out.
