According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate won in NA-188 Layyah-ll constituency with 109420 votes.

In 2013 general elections, Independent candidate SYED MUHAMMAD ASGHAR was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 90537 votes. The second runner up was Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate MUHAMMAD AKHTER KHADAM ALIAS KHADAM HUSSAIN who got 89262 votes.

At least 9 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in NA-188. In 2013 elections, there were 303678 voters registered in NA-188, out of which 206464 votes were polled out.
