Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Khawja Sheraz Mehmood has won NA-189 with 78596 votes.

According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate won in NA-189 Dera Ghazi Khan-l constituency with 78596 votes.

In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate ALAM DAD LALEKA was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 95060 votes. The second runner up was Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate MIAN MUMTAZ AHMAD MATYANA who got 46686 votes.

At least 14 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in NA-189. In 2013 elections, there were 309222 voters registered in NA-189, out of which 185241 votes were polled out.
