Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Muhammad Yaqoob Sheikh has won NA-39 with 5511 votes.

Dera Ismail Khan (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Muhammad Yaqoob Sheikh has won NA-39 with 5511 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate won in NA-39 Dera Ismail Khan-ll constituency with 5511 votes.

In 2013 general elections, Independent candidate Syed Ghazi Gulab Jamal was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 7922 votes. The second runner up was Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians candidate Jawad Hussain who got 7726 votes.

At least 35 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in NA-39. In 2013 elections, there were 125687 voters registered in NA-39, out of which 47833 votes were polled out.
