NPC to screen documentry film on honour killings on Thursday

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Oct, 2016 ) : A documentary film aimed at removing misconception about the country on honour killings will be screened here at National Press Club on Thursday.

This film has been produced by Digital Warriors Production (Canada) with the cooperation of Super Channel (Canada based tv Channel), British-Columbia-Arts-Council, Canada-Media-Fund & Creative-BC and its worldwide (except North America) distributor is Java-Films (France based international company), said a press release.

The documentary film on honour Killings is aimed to portray positive image and remove misconception about the country and criticism the nation faces from foreign community. This documentary film unveiled many scandals, sufferings, so-called honour killings and Jirga's misogynistic approach.
