One Dies, 15 Injured In Chaman Blast

QUETTA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Aug, 2018 ) :A persons was killed and 15, including two Frontier Corps (FC) personnel, were injured in a blast at Maal Road, Chaman, in Killa Abdullah district on Sunday.
Station House Officer of Chaman City Police Station Muhammad Anwar told APP that about 10 kg explosives planted in a motorcycle, which was parked between the Maal Road and Nida Market, were blasted through remote control when a vehicle of FC was passing through the area.
As a result, Kamran, a resident of Quetta, died on the spot and 15 other persons received injuries.
Five vehicles and nearby buildings were also were damaged, the SHO said.
The dead and the injured were rushed to the District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ). Most of the injured were reported to be in stable condition.
The injured were identified as FC personnel Muhammad Nadeem and Muhammad Rehman, and civilians Amanullah, Sadullah, Atiq-Ullah, Habib-Ullah, Abdul Qayyum, Ahmed Ali, Zain-Ullah, Nazir Ahmed,Ehsan-Ullah, Abdul Rauf, Rehmat-Ullah and Asad-Ullah.
Law enforcement agencies reached the site, cordoned off the entire area and started investigation.
