Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development (OP&HRD) and all its attached departments have been modernized to further serve Pakistani expatriates across the world in an efficient way.
Special Assistant to Prime Minister OP&HRD Zulfikar Bukhari said this while talking to the participants at the launching ceremony of "Call Sarzameen", "E- Governance" and the new "Website" of the ministry here on Monday.
He said impossible has been made possible by the officials of the Ministry, adding that Pakistani around the world will acquire a sense of ownership as the Ministry of OP&HRD is trying to facilitate them in every domain.
He said the ministry is being modernized in line with the Prime Minister's first 100-day agenda.
"The ministry's overall work is to be done online hence, the paperless culture is being introduced for immediate processing of everyday tasks," he reiterated.
"Now no one will need more than a day for the processing of a file in the ministry," he remarked.
The adviser said all kind of complaints can be taken here, adding these complaints reach the minister's office on a digital screen.
"It will be easy to track the status of complaints and ask for immediate redressal of the issues," he said.
He said ,"E-Governance" launched by the ministry is a great step towards digitalizing the organizational processes.
"Keeping in view the convenience of the public, we directed revamping of the website," Bukhari said.
Pakistanis, he said, at home and abroad will be guided through this website about the ministry's departments and their working.
The concerned people can be contacted immediately through this website and this online portal will serve as a gateway for the overseas and local Pakistanis to reach the officials of the ministry for their matters, he said.
