Pakistan Elected As Member Of IAEA, BoG For Two Years

Pakistan has been elected as a member of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Board of Governors for the next two years.
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Sep, 2018 ) :Pakistan has been elected as a member of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) board of Governors for the next two years.
In a statement issued by the Spokesperson of Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission Shahid Riaz Khan, he said this was a recognition of Pakistan's contributions in peaceful use of nuclear technology and also a diplomatic achievement of the country.
Chairman PAEC, Muhammad Naeem is leading the Pakistan delegation in IAEA General Conference now a days in Vienna.
Out of 170 IAEA member states, 35 countries are members of IAEA Board of Governors. IAEA elects 11 new members of Board of Governors(BoG) every year for two years term.
