Pakistani Youth Leader Hails Friendship With Turkey

ISTANBUL, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Apr, 2019 ) :The friendship between Pakistan and Turkey is higher than the tallest mountains, said the leader of a Pakistan youth group visiting Turkey on Wednesday.
"We grew up with Turkish films and stories. I can proudly say that the Pak-Turk friendship is deeper than the oceans, higher than the Himalayas, and stronger than iron," said Hanan Ali Abbasi, head of the Pakistan based, National Youth Assembly (NYA).
As part of a program organized by Pakistani officials, Abbasi and 11 members of the group visited the Turkish parliament, Supreme Court, Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA), and Anadolu Agency in the capital Ankara, as well as universities in Istanbul.
"We're proud of our Turkish brothers and sisters. Through this visit, we identified common avenues of cooperation and the activities we will do together," Abbasi told Anadolu Agency.
Abbasi said the "love for Turkey in Pakistan is persistent since generations."Abbasi added that Turkey and Pakistan, with their commitment to modern science, technology, and education, are the leaders of the Muslim ummah (community).
