Peshawar High Court Abbottabad Bench Allows Reopening Of CNG Stations From 6 Pm To 10 Am
Sumaira FH Published January 26, 2019 | 08:09 PM
After the verdict of Peshawar High Court (PHC) Abbottabad bench on Saturday, Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) stations have reopened and starting fueling of vehicles
Two weeks earlier, the provincial government has stopped CNG stations from working in Hazara division from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm keeping in view low gas pressure.
Later, on the petition of Hazara Qaumi Mahaz (HQM) leader, Qazi Azhar Advocate, PHC Abbottabad bench ordered Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) to completely shut down the CNG stations aiming to facilitate domestic customers during winter.
CNG station owners of Hazara division filed a petition against the verdict of PHC urging that shutdown of gas stations has created unemployment besides hike in public transport fares.
