PHC Seals Another 65 Fake Treatment Centres

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Apr, 2019 ) :The Punjab Healthcare Commission PHC) has sealed 65 fake treatment centres during the last one week.
According to official sources, the PHC enforcement teams had checked 369 centres in six cities during the last week.
The maximum number of 83 centres were visited in Jhang where 17 quack outlets were sealed.
On the other hand, 18 centres in Multan, 16 in Faisalabad and 13 centres were closed down in Sialkot. In all these cities, an average around 46 centres each were visited by the teams.
The spokesperson for the commission said that the PHC had so far sealed over 19,200 businesses of quacks and imposed Rs 357 million fine on them as well.
