Remembers Princess Diana and her trip to the northern areas of Pakistan
Islamabad (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 21st May, 2018) Just like how everyone in the country watched and loved the royal wedding of Prince Harry with Meghan Markle, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) also watched the wedding.
Not only did it watch the wedding, it also recalled how Princess Diana had visit Pakistan for her trip to the northern areas. Having said that, the national airline has invited the newly wedded couple to come visit the splendid northern areas of the country.
Sharing a picture of Princess Diana’s visit to Pakistan, PIA wrote in a tweet, “We watched the #RoyalWeddding & remembered #PrincessDiana & her trip to the northern areas of Pakistan, & we thought how wonderful it would be for the newly weds to visit our northern splendours as well! So #PrinceHarry & #PrincessMeghan, we are ready, just let us know when! #PIA”
Guess PIA took memes over the royal couple going to Murree for their honeymoon too seriously.
Nonetheless, it was a very sweet gesture on part of the national carrier.
Some of the replies to the post hailed the gesture while others criticized it.
The royal wedding was held on Saturday when Prince Harry tied the knot to American actress Meghan Markle in a ceremony having 600 guests, including some sports and Hollywood stars.
