Awami National Party candidate Laiq Muhammad Khan has won PK-35 with 11636 votes.

Torghar (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Awami National Party candidate Laiq Muhammad Khan has won PK-35 with 11636 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Awami National Party candidate won in PK-35 Torghar constituency with 11636 votes.

In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Asad Qaisar was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 14165 votes. The second runner up was Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Sajjad Ahmad who got 12378 votes.

At least 11 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PK-35. In 2013 elections, there were 133615 voters registered in PK-35, out of which 55742 votes were polled out.

In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 42.47 %. Detailed results can be found here
