Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Nazir Ahmed Abbasi has won PK-36 with 37321 votes.

Abbottabad (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Nazir Ahmed Abbasi has won PK-36 with 37321 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate won in PK-36 Abbottabad-I constituency with 37321 votes.

In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Muhammad Sheeraz was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 12975 votes. The second runner up was Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Rangez Ahmad who got 12571 votes.

At least 13 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PK-36. In 2013 elections, there were 107196 voters registered in PK-36, out of which 50735 votes were polled out.

In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 47.33 %. Detailed results can be found here
