Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Rangez Ahmad has won PK-43 with 26331 votes.
Swabi (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Rangez Ahmad has won PK-43 with 26331 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate won in PK-43 Swabi-I constituency with 26331 votes.
In 2013 general elections, Jamiat Ulama-e-Islam (F) candidate Mufti Said Janan was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 9010 votes. The second runner up was Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Al Haj Mohammad Farid Mufakir who got 6298 votes.
At least 10 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PK-43. In 2013 elections, there were 96683 voters registered in PK-43, out of which 27166 votes were polled out.
In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 28.09 %. Detailed results can be found here
