Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Malik Shaukat Ali has won PK-48 with 22022 votes.

Mardan (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Malik Shaukat Ali has won PK-48 with 22022 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate won in PK-48 Mardan-I constituency with 22022 votes.

In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Sardar Mohammad Idress was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 32998 votes. The second runner up was Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Mohammad Javid Abbasi who got 31417 votes.

At least 12 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PK-48. In 2013 elections, there were 148401 voters registered in PK-48, out of which 84719 votes were polled out.

In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 57.09 %. Detailed results can be found here
