PM Nawaz Sharif Aggressively Highlighted Kashmir Issue: Khurram

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Apr, 2017 ) : Minister for Commerce Engineer Khurram Dastgir Wednesday said Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif had aggressively highlighted Kashmir issue at local and international forums.

The sacrifice of Kashmiri freedom fighter Burhan Wani who gave his life for Kashmir cause was also raised by the Prime Minister, he said talking to a private news channel. He said Pakistan had been fighting war against terrorism and Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif was playing a leading role in it.

The minister said operation Zarb-e-Azb and Radd-ul- Fasaad showed seriousness of Pakistan against terrorism. He said all political parties were united to eliminate the menace of terrorism from the country.

Khurram Dastgir said Pakistan wanted peace in the region but there would be no compromise when it come to protection of the homeland. To a question, he said due to China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project and massive development in infrastructure sector, there had been increase in country's imports.
