PML-N Believes In Women's Empowerment: Sumera Malik

Candidate for NA-93 Khushab, Sumera Malik has said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz believes in women empowerment for which solid steps were taken during the last five years tenure

KHUSHAB, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th Jul, 2018 ) :Candidate for NA-93 Khushab, Sumera Malik has said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz believes in women empowerment for which solid steps were taken during the last five years tenure.

Addressing a women convention here Monday, she said that country's prosperity was subject to the participation of women in all fields of life, added that PML-N had taken various steps in this regard. She urged the women to exercise their right to vote in general election as it was their due right for electing their representatives.

She said the setting up of Women Protection Cell and the project of women on wheels had given courage to women to work in such a competitive environment.

It is pertinent to mention that there are some villages in NA-93 where women are not allowed to cast vote and the Election Commission of Pakistan had already taken notice of such practice and directed the officials concerned for ensuring women vote in such areas.
