PML-N Leadership Not Involved In Corruption: Miftah

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Nov, 2017 ) :Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Miftah Ismail Tuesday said leadership of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) was not involved in corruption as former prime minister Muhammad Nawaz was disqualified on just having an Iqama.
"No single allegation of corruption was proved against Nawaz Sharif in Panama papers," he said talking to a private news channel. He said Nawaz Sharif had launched many mega development projects in the country and ensured transparency.
He said the former prime minister had signed Charter of Democracy (CoD) with PPP to strengthen the democracy and national institutions. Miftah Ismail said Pakistan People's Party (PPP) had signed the National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) with dictator but the PML-N had not taken any benefits from the NRO.
