After completion of candidates lineup for national and provincial assembly seats by all political parties in Hazara Division political activities gain momentum.
ABBOTTBAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Jun, 2018 ) :After completion of candidates lineup for national and provincial assembly seats by all political parties in Hazara Division political activities gain momentum.
PML-N ticket for NA-15 which was bone of contention between former deputy speaker NA Murtaza Javed Abbassi and former advisor to PM on Aviation Sardar Mehtab Ahmed Khan was finalized and Murtaza Abbassi clinched the ticket.
Sardar Mehtab accepted the decision but still there was confusion for NA-16 from where his son Shahryar Khan got the PML-N ticket .
After announcement of PML-N ticket for NA-15 the supporters of Sardar Mehtab rejected the decision and called a meeting of provincial assembly ticket holders and workers to protest against the grant of ticket to Murtaza Abbassi.
In NA 15 situation become more interesting when PTI refused the native of constituency former deputy speaker Sardar Yaqoob and granted the ticket to Ali Asghar Khan who has no roots in the constituency. Whereas, disgruntled Sardar Yaqoob has announced to go for the elections independently.
Although Murtaza Abbassi is a strong candidate for NA-15 but both PTI and PML-N suffered on the ticket issue, on the other side PTIcandidate has yet to start his campaign and has to face both Murtaza Abbasi andSardar Yaqoob.
