Police Fully Prepared To Maintain Peace During Elections: City Police Officer (CPO) Munir Masood Marth

City Police Officer (CPO) Munir Masood Marth said that police force and law enforcement department were fully prepared to maintain peace during the general elections.
MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Jul, 2018 ) -:City Police Officer (CPO) Munir Masood Marth said that police force and law enforcement department were fully prepared to maintain peace during the general elections.
During a media briefing here on Monday, Munir Masood Marth said that more than 9000 police officials would be deployed for security purpose including 8300 officials.
Also, 2000 police personnel of quick response force (PQR) would be deputed on patrolling duty at 10 different places.
He said that 53 companies of Pakistan army and one company of rangers would also perform security duty to assist police.
The city police officer informed the journalists that search operations were ongoing in the district while police and other law enforcement departments would also ensure joint pickets at eight different entry points to the city.
CCTV cameras,walk through gates,barbed wires and other security arrangements were completed at polling stations,he added.
CPO Munir Masood Marth added that all possible resources would be utilized to maintain law and order situation during elections to ensure free and fair elections.
