Police Make Stringent Security Measures In Ghizer Area

ASTORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th Aug, 2018 ) :The district administration of Ghizer has worked out a robust security plan in collaboration with police force to successfully tackle any untoward situation, following reports of allegedly fleeing suspected terrorists towards the Ghizer from Darel Tangir.
Deputy Commissioner Ghizar Shuja Aalm Pirzada briefing media persons after chairing a high-level meeting on security matters said the police had been directed to enhance frequency of patrolling in the area and ensure effective security measures at exit and entry points of the district.
He said the Station House Officers (SHOs) of all police stations had been directed to have strong coordination and keep eye on suspected people in their respective limits.
He said district administration was fully prepared to tackle any possible untoward situation, adding heavy contingent of police had been deployed along the streams which were reaching out to the Diamar.
The DC said that police was equipped with sophisticated weapons and effective communication gadgets to track down miscreants, adding a check post had also been set up at single Naala as part of security measure.
Moreover, he added, administrations of private and public sector educational institutions had been directed to take security measures and ensure that they had deputed security guards besides giving them contact numbers to timely inform relevant police stations in case of untoward situation.
He also urged residents to cooperate and coordinate with the district administration and keep eye on suspected people especially those whovisited villages in the garb of hawkers.
