Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Malik Taimoor Masood has won PP-20 with 40549 votes.

Rawalpindi (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Malik Taimoor Masood has won PP-20 with 40549 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate won in PP-20 Rawalpindi-XV constituency with 40549 votes.

In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Chaudhary Liaqat Ali Khan was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 62088 votes. The second runner up was Independent candidate Chaudhary Ijaz Hussain Farhat who got 35570 votes.

At least 13 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PP-20. In 2013 elections, there were 250385 voters registered in PP-20, out of which 156446 votes were polled out.

In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 62.48 %. Detailed results can be found here
