Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Chaudhry Mazhar Iqbal has won PP-243 with 46076 votes.

Bahawalnagar (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Chaudhry Mazhar Iqbal has won PP-243 with 46076 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate won in PP-243 Bahawalnagar-VII constituency with 46076 votes.

In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 26983 votes. The second runner up was Independent candidate Sardar Awais Ahmad Khan Leghari who got 21606 votes.

At least 18 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PP-243. In 2013 elections, there were 149880 voters registered in PP-243, out of which 72694 votes were polled out.

In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 48.50 %. Detailed results can be found here
