Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate khawaja muhammad daud sulemani has won PP-285 with 27840 votes.

According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate won in PP-285 Dera Ghazi Khan-I constituency with 27840 votes.

In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Makdum Syed Muhammad Masood Alam was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 32648 votes. The second runner up was Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians candidate Ghazanfar Ali Khan who got 25948 votes.

At least 14 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PP-285. In 2013 elections, there were 134291 voters registered in PP-285, out of which 75647 votes were polled out.
