Prime Minister Approves Rs 1.22 Bln For Salaries Of Khasadar Force: Ajmal Wazir

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Adviser to Chief Minister Ajmal Wazir Friday said the Prime Minister Imran Khan has approved Rs 1.22 billion to resolve issue of salaries of Khasadar force
The Prime Minister had approved the summary of Rs 1.22 billion as sent by Ministry of SAFRON to address the issue of salaries of the force, he said in a statement issued here, adding the amount would soon be released.
He said after approval of the grant the issue of salaries of Khasadar force would be resolved permanently. As per the directives of Prime Minister Levy and Khasadar forces have been merged in KP police and the personnel of the two forces has got job protection, he added.
Ajmal said the government highly values the sacrifices rendered by personnel of Khasadar and Levy and would resolve all their issue on priority basis.
It is to mention here that Levy and Khasadar personnel were not getting salaries from last ten months due to technical and administrative reasons emerged after erstwhile FATA merger into KP.
The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had released Rs 54.1 million for payment of salaries which were stopped temporarily.
