Prodigious Pakistan Day: Prime Minister's Vision Manifested

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Mar, 2017 ) : Prodigious Pakistan Day is a manifestation of the vision of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for a Pakistan that is an integrated regional partner developing meaningful, sustainable and mutually beneficial ties with her neighbours.

It was stated by State Minister for Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage Ms. Marriyum Aurangzeb here on Thursday. She said the participation of China, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and South Africa in the 23rd March parade reinforces the bond of mutual friendship and cooperation in the areas of security and defence whilst strengthening and driving development and prosperity of our people, she asserted.

The shared goals and objectives of our great nations coupled with the herioc and gallant campaign of Zarb e Azab led by our brave armed forces, under the able leadership of the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif signaled the defeat of the forces whose objective was to isolate Pakistan.

The State Minister said Pakistan Day parade was also a reflection of national unity and brotherhood, as our soldiers have infused a new spirit of patriotism among the nation.

She said the Operations Zarb e Azb and Radd ul Fasad have marginalised the terrorists and has created an atmosphere of peace and tranquility in the country.

Marriyum Aurangzeb extended her heartiest congratulations to the Pakistani armed forces as well as visiting military delegations from the friendly countries for holding a magnificent parade to celebrating Pakistan Day.

Later in the day she said " It was a proud moment for me as a Pakistani to see our flag adorn Burj Khalifa, an architectural marvel of the modern world, on the day we celebrate the inception of Pakistan".

She thanked the people of the UAE for this great honour and said it was a gesture that touched that hearts of a nation. She appreciated the efforts of our military in conceiving and deploying the "hum Saab ka Pakistan" campaign, a moving tribute to our independence and unity.
