According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians candidate won in PS-56 Tharparkar-III constituency with 54755 votes.

In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians candidate Mir Allah Bux Talpur was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 35738 votes. The second runner up was Pakistan Muslim League (F) candidate Abdul Razaque who got 21898 votes.

At least 20 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PS-56. In 2013 elections, there were 145245 voters registered in PS-56, out of which 76326 votes were polled out.
