According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians candidate won in PS-9 Shikarpur-III constituency with 51660 votes.

In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians candidate AGHA SIRAJ KHAN DURANI was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 32993 votes. The second runner up was Pakistan Muslim League (F) candidate ZULFIQAR ALI KAMARIO who got 31264 votes.

At least 16 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PS-9. In 2013 elections, there were 129438 voters registered in PS-9, out of which 72955 votes were polled out.
