PSA Demands Exemption Of Commercial Fee

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Nov, 2018 ) ::South Punjab Private Schools Association (SPPSA) demanded the government to abolish schools commercial fee, taxes and introduce education zones in the city.
In a meeting of SPPSA held here on Tuesday which was attended by representatives of over 200 private institutes, President Javed Iqbal said that a total of one million kids were acquiring education in Multan city. Out of whom, 60 percent were enrolled in private schools. Similarly, the private schools were also providing job opportunities to thousands of teachers and other supporting staffers.
He demanded the government to abolish commercial fee of schools. He also called for easing registration process of schools. He said that the government should offer plots on easy installments for establishing schools. The private schools should be exempted of tax, he stated.
On this occasion, prominent educationists Syed Jafari, Bilal Bhutta, Wasif Sharif, Haseeb Niazi, Naeem Nawaz and others were also present.
