PTI Govt Has People-centric Economic Agenda: Shah Mahmood Qureshi

Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Monday said the incumbent government of Pakistan tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) had a people-centric socio-economic agenda aimed at bringing job opportunities with economic benefits
Interacting with a large number of Pakistani community representatives in Tokyo, the minister said the role of Pakistani community in promoting the interests of the country abroad was appreciable, according to a Foreign Office statement issued here.
He said the Pakistani diaspora had an important role as they could promote positive image of Pakistan in their residing country in an effective manner.
He said the government was committed to enhance productivity in the country to give a new impetus to economic development.
It was trying to ensure all possible facilitation for the overseas Pakistanis as necessary instruction had been issued to Pakistani missions abroad to facilitate the community regarding their genuine concerns in an effective manner, he added.
Qureshi said it was need of the hour for Pakistan to be economically and financially stable.
