PTI Govt To Protect Minorities' Rights: Augustino

Provincial Minister for Human Rights and Minority Affairs Ijaz Alam Augustino has said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) government would protect the right of the minorities in the province.

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Sep, 2018 ) :Provincial Minister for Human Rights and Minority Affairs Ijaz Alam Augustino has said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) government would protect the right of the minorities in the province.

Talking to a delegation of minority leaders led by Reverend Arif Khurram here on Wednesday, he said every religion teaches humanity and peace, adding that the world communities should work together to establish peace around the world.

The minority leaders congratulated him on being elevated as provincial minister and expressed good wishes for the future.

Augustino said that justice will be ensured at any cost and without discrimination, adding that Prime Minister Imran Khan has a vision to protect the human rights especially minorities rights in the country.

The delegation assured the provincial minister of playing their positive role for the betterment of the Christian community.
