PTI To Utilize All Resources For Implementation Of 100-day Plan

Deputy Speaker, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, Mahmood Jan has said the PTI government will utilize all available resources for the implementation of its 100-day plan.

He was talking to Acting General Manager, Sui Northern Gas Pipeline Limited (SNGPL), Mohammad Aurangzeb Khan here in his office on Tuesday.

During the meeting they discussed natural gas related problems including gas shedding in his electoral constituency PK-66.

The Deputy Speaker said that the supply of Sui gas is inevitable for rural development and increasing the standard of life of the people. He clarified that competing the challenges of the modern era is impossible sans the provision of basic amenities.

Mahmood Jan said that the provision of basic facilities to the people is part and parcel of the mission of PTI and asked the SNGPL for taking maximum steps in this regard.

Talking about the public complaints of his electoral constituency, the Deputy Speaker said that domestic consumers are facing gas load shedding and the facility is provided to them late night. T herefore, he asked the authorities of the SNGPL for the resolution of the problem on priority bases.

On this occasion, the local representatives and SNGPL’s authorities agreed on the formation of a joint survey team to play role in the abolition of illegal connections and increase in the pressure of gas in the area.

The General Manager SNGPL attributed decline in the gas pressure to the growing number of housing societies and running of generator for electricity. Therefore, he said the company has decided lowering of gas pressure for domestic consumers after 10:00 A.M. The meeting also agreed on change in the category of gas tariff for mosques.
