Rehman Malik Demands Judicial Inquiry Of Firing On Residence Of Justice SC

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Apr, 2018 ) :Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) senior leader Senator A. Rehman Malik Sunday strongly condemned firing on the residence of Supreme Court Judge Justice Ejaz ul Ahsan.
He has demanded immediate inquiry and fair investigation into this highly condemnable incident of firing that on the residence of a judge of apex court of the country, said a press release. "It is unfortunate that even residences of our judges are not protected" Rehman Malik said.� He said that such attacks are aimed to impact the rule of law and horrify the judiciary but he believes that such coward tactics cannot impact and terrify our Judiciary.
"Firing on the residence of Justice Ejaz ul Ahsan is actually an attack on judiciary of Pakistan", said Rehman Malik.� The Senator said that PPP has always respected judiciary and stands with it at the time when it is under attack, adding that it is the duty of every citizen of the country to respect and protect the institutions.
"Those who are involved in the incident should be arrested immediately and the motives behind the attack should be found", he added.
