Rs, 5 Billion Funds Provide To All DC For Addressing Water Problems In Balochistan: Home Minister

QUETTA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Dec, 2018 ) :Home Minister Balochistan Muhammad Saleem Khosa Monday said concert measures are being taken to ensure provision of relief to effected people of drought in 11 districts of province.
He said this while addressing a press conference regarding drought at Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PMDA) Office here.
Provincial Information & Higher Education Zahoor Buledi, and other officials were present on the occasion.
Home Minister said government was trying to ensure provision of rations, edible goods, medicines to drought hit 11 districts including Nushki, Chaghi, Kharan, Washak, Panjgur, Jhal Magsi, Kachhi, Musakhel, Harnai, Sibi, and Zhob.
He also mentioned that directives were issued all Deputy Commissioners to inspect their respective areas for submitting reports in order to assist people.
He said, there was no causality reported from drought in respective areas but a lot of cattle and crops were effected from the areas, saying that, veterinary doctors teams have been formed to treat effected cattle.
Provincial Information & Higher Education said provincial cabinet had approved 5 billion funds for addressing water problems, education and health for provision of facilities to public at district level on emergency bases which are main issues common men.
"Funds would be provided to all DC's to address public problems at their doors in the areas", he added.
