Sindh Anti Corruption Establishment Registers FIR Against Contractor, Officials Of SITE

The Sindh Anti Corruption Establishment has registered an FIR against the contractor and officials of Sindh Industrial and Trading Estate (SITE) Limited in the project of construction of Combined Effluent Treatment Plant (CEPT) in Kotri SITE area
The FIR has been lodged under sections 34, 218, 409, 420, 467, 468 and 477 of Pakistan Penal Code on complaint of the Circle Officer Inayat Ali Qureshi.
The complainant charged the accused with embezzlement of funds while pointing out that even after around 8 years of the project's inauguration, the CEPT had not become functional.
