Sindh Governor Muhammad Zubair has condoled the demise of Dr. Ashfaq Ahmad, a notable nuclear scientist of the country who passed away here on Thursday
KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Jan, 2018 ) :Sindh Governor Muhammad Zubair has condoled the demise of Dr. Ashfaq Ahmad, a notable nuclear scientist of the country who passed away here on Thursday.
Paying glowing tributes to the scientist, the Governor said contribution made by Dr. Ashfaq towards nuclear empowerment of the country will always be remembered by the nation.
"He was among the pioneers who guided young nuclear scientists, engineers and technicians to help the country make multi-purpose use of nuclear technology," said Governor Muhammad Zubair.
"Dr. Ashfaq Ahmad was committed to promotion of nuclear power for peaceful purpose and worked selflessly for the cause," he said. Expressing his sympathy with the bereaved family, the Sindh Governor prayed for eternal peace of the senior scientist.
