Sindh Govt. Bans Use Of Firearms, Political Slogans In Qaladar's Urs

The Sindh Government has imposed a ban on carrying firearms and raising political slogans and other activities in Sehwan Sharif on the occasion of the annual Urs of famous saint Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar that will be celebrated with zeal and fervor from April 22 to 24
The Sindh Government has also banned swimming in Aral Wah / Danister Wah and Sim Nalo at Sehwan Sharif under section 144 of CrPC, said a statement on Friday.
The notification states that the movement of heavy/bhoosa loaded vehicles towards Sehwan routes may please be diverted from Dadu to Moro and from T-More Jamshoro to Hala.
Carrying of firearms, explosive material, cracker, political slogan and posters have also been banned on the occasion of Urs of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar.
Further, all permissions issued by the Home Department Sindh to carry weapon in relaxation of ban u/s 144 Cr. P.C. shall remain suspended during the above ban period to the extent of Taluka Sehwan Sharif.
In pursuance of section 195 (i) (a) Cr. P.C. the SHOs of concerned Police Stations are authorized to register complaints U/s 188 PPC in writing in violation of the ban imposed under section 144 Cr. P.C. against the violators under this notification.
